Joyful, Compassionate, Light-hearted
Olivia first discovered yoga during college in 2000 and was immediately in love. She exasperated her professors by walking out in the middle of classes to make it to yoga class, instead. In yoga, she found strength, joy, a peaceful mind, a loving community, and a pain-free lower back. She soon began sharing her joy in yoga by teaching classes at the Davis Adult school, local gyms and UC Davis Experimental college.This was a period of great happiness in her life. It was a wonderful experience being able to share the gift and benefits of yoga with so many, and such a diverse group of people. After five years of working and travel overseas, Olivia returned to Sacramento, completing her 200-hour yoga teacher training and joyfully diving headfirst back into the yoga community. Olivia’s classes offer a strong yet playful flow with focus on alignment and listening to your own inner teacher.
